predominantly African descent. Due to its internal situation, it is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean.

Located in the Leewards, it includes the islands of Anguilla and Sombrero, located between St. Martin and St. Barthelemy.
It owes its name to the Spanish word for "eel", referring to its long, narrow shape, while its Caribbean name is Malliouhana. The surface yes

Tourism
The gastronomy of the island of Anguilla consists essentially of very fresh fish and lobsters, while international cuisine of the highest level is offered in hotels and luxury hotels. The official language is English, the local currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (ECD). For shopping, the typical and cheap souvenirs are shells, wooden objects, pottery, rag dolls and hand-embroidered tablecloths.
